We had the priviledge of being invited to attend Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia on Wednesday to see Jayson Brunsdon's Ready-To-Wear S/S 2014-15 runway show. It was definitely prevelent from our first steps into the room (walking behind Margaret Zhang!) that Jayson was inspired by Rio for his new collection, having bright bags on all the chairs. While waiting patiently in our seats for the show to start we had a look around and spotted a few faces we wish we could call familiar, including Abbie from ANTM cycle 8, Nicole Warne from Garypeppergirl sitting next to Margaret Zhang, Neale Whitaker, Leona Edmiston, just to name a few. His show opened with models dressed in rich fruity colours, making us all feel nostalgic about summer but excited about the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. His collection celebrates a sexy femininity spiced with a rich Brazilian flavour. We loved his modern take on a vision of a girl from Ipanema!
